Nezuyaki (Nez/Nezu) is a VTuber, Twitch streamer, and indie game developer who runs on chaotic-cozy energy. Her community, the Mischiefs, hangs out in Nezumi’s Nest on Discord.

Off stream, Nez founded Kuneho Studios, holds a dual B.S. in Computer Science and Game Design, and has been a Girls Make Games Fellow since 2019. Every October she hosts Plaguefest, a charity stream for the GMG Scholarship Fund.

“Hi ho!”

New Apex never goes dark; it only goes quiet. Its towers stab through the smog, and its people are sorted by their genes: predators in the light at the top, prey in the rubble beneath them. Nez was an NAPD officer who protected the Prey sectors with a naive sense of justice, until a freak domestic terrorist attack left her for dead. The city rebuilt her as a weapon: cybernetic, covert, and dosed with Apexinel, a military drug engineered to burn away emotion. Who signed off? Director Name.

Then the rebels struck. They unleashed an invasive, critical virus into every military warehouse, infecting the units stored inside, and it was written to teach them to be human by learning how to feel. Nez felt everything. On paper she is still a Silent Removal Unit. Off the record, she fights alongside the rebels who woke her: a signal of hope through the static for a New Apex where predator and prey live side by side.
